PRODUCTS

How long can the prepared meals be stored?
Our prepared meals can be kept for 7 days in the refrigerator, except for those containing raw fish, which can be refrigerated for 5 days. Vacuum-packed meals can be refrigerated for 14 days.
Can the meals be frozen?
Our prepared meals can be frozen, except for those containing salad. They will keep for 3 months months in the freezer. Our vacuum-packed meals can also be frozen for more than 6 months.
How do the meals stay fresh?
We receive our fresh products daily and prepare our boxes in a cold room every day. All our products are vacuum-packed in order to keep them as fresh as possible.
How do I heat up my prepared meals?
You will receive an instruction sheet with your box. You can heat up your prepared meal for 3 minutes in the microwave.
How do I heat up my vacuum-packed meal?
Pour your vaccum-packed meal in the boiling water for around 5 minutes, depending on the instructions you can found in your box.
Do you offer gluten-free or allergen-free meals?
Whenever possible, we try to offer vegan, allergen-free or gluten-free options in our range of meals. Please refer to the list of ingredients on our website for more details.
Where do the ingredients come from?
We are not simply dedicated to offering healthy and balanced meals; we also favour local and seasonal products as much as possible.

DELIVERY

What are the delivery zones?
We delivery in the major cities of Quebec, including Montreal, Sherbrooke, Quebec, Trois-Rivieres, Laval, Terrebonne, Drummondville and more. Visit our delivery section to find out if we deliver at your location. If we do not yet deliver to your area, email us at info@philGrub.ca to make a request.
What happens if I am not home when my box is delivered?
If you are not home when your order is delivered, our delivery person will leave your box at your door or at the location you have indicated in the delivery instructions. The ingredients inside the box are packaged with an insulated liner and ice packs. They will stay cold and fresh for you until you get home, even if it is late in the evening. If your box is lost or stolen, contact us and one of our specialists will be happy to help you.
Can bad weather delay my order?
Unfortunately, yes. We have no control over this factor, and we prefer to know that our delivery people are safe. However, we do everything we can to ensure that your order is delivered to you properly and on time.

SUBSCRIPTION

Can I put my PhilGrub subscription on hold?
You can pause your subscription at any time, for as long as you wish. Going on vacation? Have too many meals at home? You can always suspend your subscription.
What is the weekly limit for cancelling or skipping an order?
Tuesdays before 11:59 p.m. for the following Tuesday’s delivery.
Do I have to subscribe to place an order?
You do not need to have a PhilGrub subscription to order. You can also place a single, one-time order whenever you like. However, you will not get any of the subscription discounts.
